No Mail on Saturday?

Women going through the recession better than men

Reuters reported the jobless rate for men when, “the unemployment gender gap hit a post-war peak in August 2009,” was 11 percent; while it was a lower 8.3 percent for women. The authors of the study said most of the jobs lost during this time were in male-dominated industries, such as construction and manufacturing.
