Canadian Air Forces Prepare Assault on ISIS

Yet another unusual ally has joined the conflict as Canada has sent fighter planes to a shared Kuwait military base. Like most of the coalition against ISIS, Canada is reluctant to send in ground forces and is limiting itself to airstrikes and limiting the strikes to targets in Iraq and not moving into Syria. Currently, Canadian Parliament has allowed for the campaign to continue for six months, though it is expected that a year will be required. There are concerns that the conflict against ISIS cannot be won by airstrikes alone, especially given new reports that the number of potential targets is dwindling. ISIS militants have changed tactics and begun hiding their facilities amongst civilian populations. The Canadian planes have been flying missions and searching for targets every day and launching strikes where they can.
