On Nov. 8, the Association of IPFW Women will be holding their annual Chicago bus trip fundraiser to help support their scholarship fund. This event is open to the public, but is limited to 55 people. Tickets cost $40 per person, and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Ticket costs include a contribution to the scholarship fund and motor coach transportation, provided by Excursions, Inc.

The Associations of Women’s scholarship is given to eligible full-time junior or senior female students with a cumulative 3.25 GPA and demonstrable financial need. This year’s itinerary is similar to previous years, with many of the same memorable stops. This includes museums, such as the Field Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Science and Industry. Some other stops are Miracle Mile shopping at Water Tower Place Shopping Center at Michigan Ave., and Macy’s on State St. in the Loop. The bus trip also includes the Chicago Humanities Festival, which celebrating its 25th anniversary with many artists, performer, thinkers and other notable figures in the humanities. These individuals will be giving lectures, performances, programs and more. For the trip, the bus driver will decide on a single afternoon pick-up point and there will be rest stops each way.
