The Fort Wayne John Chapman Kiwanis Foundation will host their third annual Chocolate Fest from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 10 at Parkview Field.

All proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction items will go through the foundation to support Riley Children’s Hospital and other Fort Wayne children’s charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Stop Child Abuse Now, said Holly Barnett, a Kiwanis member and the John Chapman Lieutenant Governor.

Barnett oversees all the Kiwanis clubs in Northeast Indiana.

Tickets to ChocolateFest will allow for unlimited access to the white, milk and dark chocolate fountains as well as pre-dipped items like chocolate covered bacon.

An unlimited buffet dinner will also be offered.

Local jazz band The DeeGees will be the entertainment for the night.

ChocolateFest was started in 2014 when the John Chapman Foundation partnered with Angela Dipple from Fort Wayne Chocolate Fountain, a local business owner who was looking for a way to give back to the community.

The Fort Wayne John Chapman Kiwanis Foundation recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and is always accepting new members, Barnett said.

Kiwanis focuses on “improving the world one community and one child at a time and building the community through children and children-oriented charities,” she said.

Those interested in joining or purchasing tickets can contact Holly Barnett at barnhm02@gmail.com.

Tickets can also be purchased on Eventbrite for $30 until Feb. 1 and $35 after Feb. 1 while supplies last.
