IPSGA Student Officer Elections Begins

Written by: Zachary SeitzMarch 17, 2015

Ready the bulletin boards. The election process for IPSGA officers is underway as petitions for election are being sorted through for qualified individuals.  The official list of candidates will be made public March 23.

Officer hopefuls submitted petitions to the Election Board requesting to be included in the election process and are awaiting validation by the IPSGA Advisor.

The role of IPSGA advisor is integrated with election process.  The advisor sorts through potential candidates, ensuring candidates meet the requirements for election.  The advisor also jointly selects the seven election board members with IPFW Dean of Students Eric Norman or designee.

To be a candidate a student must be enrolled in at least six credit hours and hold 2.0 or higher grade point average. Once validated a candidate is able to begin campaigning after 48 hours.
