Student Groups to Host Information Session on LSA Report

Students, Staff, faculty and the community at large are  welcome to come to a free informational session at IPFW at 11 a.m. Feb. 23 in the Walb Classic Ballroom.

Prof. Andrew Downs of the political science department at IPFW was a member of the Legislative Services Agency study’s working group and will speak on the proposal. There will also be a question and answer session for people to gain clarity on the proposal’s specifics.

IPSGA will host a table with a survey for students about the LSA report.  There will be letter writing area for students to give voice to their questions to particular people and entities. There will also be free food and beverages provided for those who attend.

IPFW Anthropology Club, IPFW Arabic Language and Culture club, Campus Feminists in Solidarity, IPSGA, Japanese club and IPFW Voices of Choice are all involved with the event.

Those involved stated, “We would encourage those who are interested in learning more or have questions about the LSA report to attend. This session is to help students voice questions and concerns pertaining to the possible changes.”
