TRACK and IPFW Partner to Bring Awareness to Child Abuse and Women’s History Month

IPFW’s “Evening of Cultural Expression” will celebrate women’s history month with the Fort Wayne community on March 27.

Sponsored by IPSGA, the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA) and the Three Rivers Art Center for Kids (TRACK), the event will feature performances by IPFW groups the Dancin’ Dons, We Defy Dance Crew and the D Sharp Show Choir alongside Fort Wayne acts the Mimi Burns Band and the Fort Wayne Dance Collective.

A keynote address by Maleah Heck, a sexual abuse survivor, a presentation on “Destiny’s Law” and a reading by TRACK founder Terry Doran will also take place.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event is slated to begin at 7 p.m., but early arrivals can enjoy an opening performance from the Mimi Burns Band at 6:50 p.m.
